NRLI-affiliated faculty have extensive practical experience in assisting decision makers on tough environmental and community issues, and we bring this experience to our training programs. Training topics offered through the Institute include:
- Leadership development
- Negotiation
- Decision making
- Public involvement and participatory decision making
- Facilitation and mediation
The training courses we offer are targeted to local, state, and federal government agency staff, members of boards and commissions, staff and volunteers of conservation organizations, private-sector resource managers, and interested citizens.
