Welcome Note

The North American Section of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects will hold its next meeting in Greensboro, NC on 5-7 October 2012.  The conference will take place at the Haw River State Park’s Summit Retreat and Conference Center during the peak season of the Fall colors in the region.

We have over 140 registrants and expect a great meeting. This number made space for oral presentations and applications for our awards very competitive. We therefore will also have a full and excellent poster session too.

If you need any information, please contact us through our Facebook page or at

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you in Greensboro in October.
