ESA Southeastern Branch Competition Winners


Several graduate students in the department captured top prizes in competitions at the recent ESA-SEB meeting. 

Nataraja Maheshala took 1st place in the ESA-SEB Poster Competition for his research entitled  "Characterization of feeding behavior of neonicotinoid-resistant tobacco thrips on peanut"

Damon D'Ambrosio took 2nd place in the poster session for his research  "Determining egg and larval distribution of Frankliniella fusca in neonicotinoid-treated cotton"

Laura Kraft took 1st place in Traditional Macrophotography and overall Best in Show for the photo salon for her photograph of a dragonfly taken at Sapelo Island, Georgia.
