2015 PLANET Student Career Days - 39th Annual Competition

Attend the 39th annual PLANET Student Career Days and National Collegiate Landscape Competition, held from March 12-15th, 2015. North Carolina State University is hosting 850+ students from the nations top horticulture and landscape programs while they compete in over 28 team and individual competitions.

Annual Events

All competitive events require student to bring their own safety equipment to each event (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.). Points will be deducted from competition scores for not utilizing proper safety equipment.

Want to participate in PLANET Student Career Days and National Collegiate Landscape Competition?

We encourage student's to join the NC State team by attending Horticulture Club meetings and PLANET SCD Team meetings. The program events have been geared to help promote future leaders and for you to suceed in the horticulture and landscape industry. Don't forget the student and faculty workshops, Career Fair, and PLANET Career Development Series!

History of Student Career Days

This annual three-day event is considered the large collegiate competition event in the nation. The PLANET Student Career Days attracts more than 850 enrolled students from 65 colleges and universities in the nation's top horticulture and landscape programs. Additionally, the students have the opportunity to meet and interview with over 80 companies who participate in the career fair. The competition and career fair are sponsored and attended by 200+ industry representatives.
