Virginia Technology Education Supervisors’ Meeting

TECA Eastern Regional Conference Registration
All conference participants (including those who pre-registered) must visit the registration booth. All Technology Challenge contestants must register for the event by 7:00 p.m. at this booth.

Technology Challenge Competition
All Technology Challenge contestants must register for the event by 7:00 p.m. at the conference registration booth in the upper lobby.

All Poster Session Contest teams must report to this session and set up their displays. Presentation times will be assigned during this session.

Automated Systems Design Contest
All Automated Systems Design Contest teams must report to this session. Full contest conducted during this time.

Teaching Lesson Contest Orientation
All contestants must submit four copies of their handout during this orientation session.
Location: Dominion Room

9:30 a.m. – Noon
Poster Session Contest Presentations
Contest teams must report for their assigned presentation time during this time block. All teams should report at least 5 minutes early and wait outside of the room until called to enter.

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Problem Solving Contest
All Problem Solving Contest teams must report to this session with their completed planning and design paperwork.
Hands-on part of the Problem Solving Contest begins.

9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Elementary “ Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel are Trapped! Can You Get Them Out?
” All contest teams must report to this session. All necessary resources and design challenge will be provided during the time period.

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Job Fair
All juniors, seniors, and graduate students are encouraged to attend this session and meet with prospective employers from about 50 school systems. Bring your resumes!

Manufacturing Contest (Production System Setup)
All Manufacturing Contest teams may use this time to setup for the manufacturing run.
